Hi, we're the Senini Family ~ the husband and wife team behind Shanghaigrilllatham. Starting a family didn't come easy to us; and that's how Shanghaigrilllatham was born.

During our struggles with infertility that eventually led to us undergoing IVF ~ I needed something to occupy my time and began building wood furniture on the side. I was able to find refuge in woodworking and a creative outlet for my heartache and suffering. The money earned from our side hustle went towards paying for our IVF treatment. Our first round of IVF ended up being successful, and while grow our rainbow baby, this side hustle rapidly began to turn into a full time career. While pregnant I had to take time off building heavy furniture + our online sign business began to boom. We made the decision to stop building furniture during this time. Shortly after the birth of our daughter we opened up our first brick + mortar which led to the addition of clothing + other home decor and accessories to our lineup.

We have suffered multiple losses since the birth of our sweet daughter and our business has also been a safe place and refuge for our frustrations and sadness. We have been fortunate enough to have conceived our 2nd child now through IVF and feel so passionate about supporting others that we have created our #signs4infertility campaign. A portion of sales from all sign purchases are donated to the generations of hope charity. A charity that helps fund families who can't afford fertility treatment. We are committed to bringing awareness to this crippling diagnosis, and providing support whenever and wherever we can.
